Man shot at AMC Movie Theater Phipps Plaza

A man was shot in a theater showing Spider-Man at AMC Phipps Plaza at approx. 10:45 PM last night. According to officers, the gunman was angry about where the victim was sitting in the theater. An argument between the two men got heated, and the gunman opened fire. One woman who was inside the theater at the time of the shooting says that the scene was very chaotic following the gunshots. “Everyone starting dropping to the ground and running/crawling to the door, screaming.” The victim was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he is in stable condition. Investigators are still searching for the gunman.
