Loganville Police Department officers responded to an incident Sunday night about a young girl reportedly leaving a note on a napkin at Chili's stating she needed help. The management immediately contacted police and fully cooperated with arriving officers. Detectives were able to locate the girl and her family. She was never in any danger and is safe.
"We understand and appreciate the public concern regarding the issue, but we can assure everyone this was not a case of sex trafficking or abuse of any kind, and the child was never in any danger," said Assistant Chief M.D. Lowry.
