Suicide and Mental Health Hotline

On the surface, she lived a dream life: Miss USA, successful attorney, national TV correspondent. But for reasons we may never fully understand, on this cold Sunday morning in New York City, Cheslie Kryst left a suicide note behind and fell from a high rise apartment building to her death. She was only 30 years old. Depression and other mental health crises do not discriminate. It does not matter who you are, what you’ve achieved, or how the world perceives you. Sometimes the seemingly strongest among us are suffering in silence. If you or someone you know needs help, please contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255), text “STRENGTH” to the Crisis Text Line at 741-741 or go to suicidepreventionlifeline.org.https://www.nbcconnecticut.com/.../cheslie-kryst.../2704709/
