Walker Park Elementary Food Drive

2,000 Cans of Food!!
That is how many cans of food our entire Walker Park Elementary community has donated toward the Empty Stocking Fund (canned food drive!) campaign as of today!
Mrs. Fowler and I are so proud of our Jr. Beta Club students for helping to organize this campaign. The students (some of whom are pictured here!) count the donations received every morning and then pile them up in the corner of the Cafeteria.....just look how overflowing the huge barrels of canned food are!!
The top 3 winning classes win either a pizza party, ice cream party, or donut party! feeling excited at Walker Park Elementary School.
