Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Faces Hundreds of Delays on Peak Travel Weekend

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) had projected screening about 40 million passengers nationwide through January 2, with nearly 4 million of those travelers expected in Atlanta1.Despite the airport's preparations, including the installation of 18 new passenger information totems displaying security wait times, the unexpected weather challenges have thrown a wrench into many travelers' plans.
