     Loganville, GA – A devastating early morning house fire in Loganville has left five people hospitalized, including two adults in critical condition. The blaze broke out around 4 a.m. on Saturday at a residence on Bay Cove Trail SE, prompting an urgent response from Gwinnett County firefighters.

     Emergency crews were dispatched after receiving a 911 call from a man trapped on the second floor of the home with another individual. When firefighters arrived at 4:16 a.m., flames were visible on both the first and second stories of the house. Crews entered through the basement and used ladders to access second-floor windows.

     Two unconscious adults were rescued from the second floor and transported to a hospital in critical condition. Meanwhile, a third adult and two children managed to escape the burning home before firefighters arrived. They were taken to another hospital and are reported to be in stable condition. At least three of the victims exhibited symptoms of smoke inhalation.

     Firefighters worked diligently to bring the fire under control by 4:46 a.m., preventing further damage to the property. The cause of the fire remains under investigation as officials consider all possible scenarios.

     The incident has shaken the local community as residents await updates on the conditions of those injured. Gwinnett County fire officials have not yet released additional details about the victims or what may have caused the fire.
