Loganville, GA – In a heartwarming display of community spirit, Unity in the Community Impacting Lives, a local nonprofit founded by Pastor Mary Tate, hosted a “Feed the Homeless/Needy” event yesterday at Whits Inn in Loganville. The event, covered by Between Community News, provided hot, nutritious meals to approximately 25 individuals, including children.
Pastor Mary Tate, who has dedicated many years to serving those in need, led the initiative with her trademark compassion and commitment. “We are here to make a difference, one meal and one life at a time,” said Pastor Tate. Her ongoing efforts continue to inspire volunteers and supporters throughout the region.
Whits Inn graciously opened its doors for the event, demonstrating the vital role local businesses play in supporting charitable work. Organizers expressed their gratitude to Whits Inn for consistently allowing their venue to be used for these important gatherings.
The event is part of a recurring outreach effort, with meals provided at least once a month—and sometimes more frequently—at various locations. Volunteers from Unity in the Community Impacting Lives, along with generous donors, contributed time, food, and resources to ensure the event’s success.
“We couldn’t do this without the support of our members, donors, and local partners like Whits Inn,” said a Unity in the Community spokesperson. “Together, we are truly impacting lives.”
