Rideshare Driver Killed By Train After Getting Stuck

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — A rideshare driver was killed after getting hit by a train Thursday in Gwinnett County, reported WSB-TV.

Duluth police told the news station they received calls around 5 a.m. about an SUV that was hit by a train near South Main Street. The SUV was found flipped over and the driver pronounced dead, reported WSB. Witnesses told the news station the passenger got out, but the driver stayed and tried to get the train off the track.
